Title: Reference Librarian (part-time)

Description: The Brown Deer Public Library, located in north suburban Milwaukee County, has an opening for a part-time Reference Librarian. The position averages 12-20 hours per week and requires evening and weekend availability. The success candidate will be a flexible team player, have a strong customer service ethic, be proficient with library technology and social media, and have demonstrated skills with best practices in reference work. Salary range $13-$15 per hour commensurate with experience. Duties include routine print and online reference service, internet/PC instruction, collection management, and planning and promotion of library programs and services.

Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS required. Experience in young adult and children's services preferred.
